AAA refused to honor the three year warranty on a battery that failed after one year , on the grounds of owner misuse since I had gone north from Fl for two months , even though the car started fine for one month before battery failure. A Lexus mechanic advised that the AAA battery was junk and their contractors used phony excuse we to avoid warranty claims.

AAA plays this scam knowing that the costs involved will deter defrauded consumers from fighting back. This is a scam that is being used all over the country and is very lucrative because the wholesale cost of the junk AAA batteries is minimal and they sell the battery for over 130 dollars.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $130.

American Automobile Association Cons: Fraud.

Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

The same thing is happening to me only they're saying I didn't put enough miles on the battery (I did 13,000 and they wanted 14,500). The warranty doesn't even say that's an exclusion. I think it's time to start a class action lawsuit against them.
